plevel

plevel finds bot and scam accounts in the comments under a YouTube creator's videos and shows the evidence: which accounts, which comments, and why.

What it never does

It never deletes a comment, never blocks an account and reports nobody to YouTube. Where a creator has made plevel a moderator, it can hide a comment: YouTube then holds it for review in the creator's Studio, where one click brings it back. I decide each hide after looking at the evidence. This site sets no cookies and keeps no record of your visit.

Who

My name is Ondřej Praus. I am a data engineer from the Czech Republic, and for 10 years I helped insurance companies detect fraud by using data. plevel is a Czech word for weeds.

If you got an email from me

Review links from me look like review.plevel.app/c/…. They are read only, show only your channel, and expire after 30 days. Anything else claiming to be plevel is not from me.

I will never ask for your password or your login. The only access plevel ever asks for is moderator, which you give in YouTube Studio and can take back there at any time. If you would rather not click a link from a stranger, I am happy to show it on a video call.

plevel is one person's tool, running on a handful of channels. There is no price yet.
